Wear
a story

Keffiehs, embroidered pieces and contemporary garments connected to Palestinian and Syrian heritage.

The collections

Portrait of Iwan, founder of LEVAMI, wearing an embroidered piece.

I wanted to create a brand rooted in a real story, not just an aesthetic.

A lived story

Iwan is French-Syrian, of Palestinian origin. His family comes from Tiberias, in Palestine. He was born and raised in Syria, close to the Palestinian communities of Damascus and its countryside.

After more than ten years in the humanitarian sector and more than eleven years away from Syria, he returned. He reconnected with relatives, families and workshops whose skills had survived years of war and crisis. This experience gave rise to LEVAMI.

The gesture behind the piece

For generations, people have embroidered, woven, cut and assembled the textiles of the Levant.

LEVAMI works with relatives, artisans and workshops to give these gestures a place today.
